That looks just ok, so your IE must be seriously broken. Can you "reset"
it
and clear cache as well?

I managed, after some difficulty, to uninstall IE7. I then found I'd got IE6
on the machine in working order and used that to download Firefox, which was
no problem.to do. I'm slightly wary of trying to reinstall IE7.
