script error messages

I am at my wit's end.

It was necessary to do a repair installation of XP (from restore partition)
and at the time, applied SP2 from CD.

Finally got everything working, but am being bombarded with script error
messages. Have checked both script error debugging; they are disabled.
Likewise, display error message each time was NOT enabled.

So far, searching the web hasn't yielded any other ideas.

I really screwed up my settings (lost flash and shockwave), but finally got
them back.

Anyone? Please help.
