Hello
Last question for now. I have lost the side panel in My Computer and My
Network Places. All that appears in My Network Places for instance is
icons. Previously there was a side panel which said:

Network tasks
Add a network place
View network connections
Set up a home or small office network
etc


Click the "Tools" menu and select "Folder Options". In the "Tasks" section,
tick "Show Common Tasks in Folders". I believe that is what you're looking
for.
