It's been a helluva deal. I got all kinds of pop! CHUNK! WARNINGS. I
remember at one time or another I got one of these deals and it was a
nightmare for a coupla' days Out of the woodwork came about a thousand (or
close to) anti-Spyware/malware programs. I did get one,(then) but I let it
lapse or lost it or.... Anyway, I guess I could get another one, but I'd
hafta put it on the bank card, and what other reason would they do this
other than to get CC #s I got the "freeware" Spyware Doctor, it scans but
it doesn't remove without a payment. I remember that it did the trick, but
I'm not ready to bend over now. got "windows Defender' AND it SEEMED TO FIX
MOST OF THE PROBLEMS. But I'm still getting all kinds of "security" pop ups
and "system alerts". I know that there is something causing this problem,
but I just can't figure out what it is.
I tried to use system restore, but whatever the program is that caused this
problem disabled the systemrestore. It also disabled the Task manager. I got
that going again but I can't seem to figure out What is causing my problems.
James, I hoped your e-mail is a working one. But found an alternative.
