I have Norton 360 (currently not in use since I want to make sure
that it is not causing the problem)

Reboot your PC. Press F8 until you see the options screen. Choose
"safe mode with networking". Try downloading a file which has
previously failed.

Hi Joe,

I did try your suggestion and I still have the problem. In IE7 it was
as before and in Opera the download did not even start...

What could that be? Any more suggestions because I am out of ideas...

Do you use a router? If so, unplug it from mains power for 60 seconds then
plug it back in.

If this fails type the following at the command prompt(run>cmd)

ping -n 100www.green.com

tracertwww.green.com

Paste your results back to this thread.- Dölj citerad text -

Hi Joe,

IT WORKS! I just restarted the router and adsl-modem and now it works
just fine!

Thanks!
