Logs in Windows OS

Hi Guys,

I need your help guys.

Does the Windows OS keep track of the files installed while installing
a third party product ? Any logs... ?

For ex. if the user installs a product with some dlls, whether OS
keeps track of the dlls installed ?

If so, where it keeps the log files ?

Event Log will not show the individual files installed , I believe..

Any help is appreciated.
