Hi, I have an interesting problem with my computer (to put it nicely).
Whenever I try to install any new device (like usb) it detects the
device, but asks for drivers. Since it's supposed to be plug and play
technology it never finds any compatable, and gives me the message
"unable to install device". Here's what I've done in regards to the
problem so far.
I have a Dell Inspiron 1150 lap, with the most up to date version of
windows XP, AND have updated all the available chipsets for my
computer since this problem occured. I've also checked to make sure
the plug and play option is enabled under services. I'm at a loss
right now, and any suggestions anyones has would be greatly
apprieciated.
What's the device?
