Chinese Win XP --> English Win XP ??

Hi there,

I have no command of Chinese, and yet I was given a PC with the
Chinese Windows XP on it. I wouldlike to install the English Windows
XP on it, so that I could start using it. (I have a CD with the the
English Windows XP).

How do I do it ? I did a search on the Internet, and the advices are
like: "do the hard drive formatting, and do a clean Windows install on
it". The problem is that when I try to do formatting ("format c:"),
the computer gives me a feedback in Chinese which I do not understand,
and nothing happens.
