Looking for an app that will fill CDs or DVDs in directory order (see inside)

I have several backup needs that require that I be able to fill up CD
or DVD media with files from several directories, in directory order
(i.e., files are alphabetical within folders that are alphabetically
arranged). So the program would write folders and files in
alphabetical order until the next file written would overflow the
media; then it would ask for a new disk to continue the process. I
suppose it would be nice to be able to specify either that only full
folders be written, or that folders could be split between different
media. That would be a nicety, but not 100% necessary.
My first need is for plain backup. It's most convenient to have the
folders in alphabetical order, much as they appear when displaying
them in Windows Explorer. They're easier to find when you need to
restore.
Then, there's music and book files. I'd like to be able to back up
the albums in alphabetical order, and of course the files in
alphabetical order since the first two or three characters of a
filename is usually a track number.
There's a freeware program named "Burn To The Brim" which backs up
folders and files, but the main focus is on filling up the CDs or DVDs
completely as possible, necessitating their putting in files out of
alphabetical order. That's not my goal. Media is cheap enough now
that I can write my files in alphabetical order so they're easier to
find.
Does anyone know of a program that will give me the ability to fill up
media in file-alphabetical-order within folder-alphabetical-order?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
