The DVD may be bad. There are recovery tools available, but they may
not be able to recover everything in the bad blocks. When you make a
DVD this way, burn it with al files at once and use some PAR2 files
so if this happens you can get complete recovery, but you will still
need a CD/DVD recovery tool. I do this on everything that is very
important,
