Hi Phil,
I see no reason why you can't install over the version you have installed as
long as
the new copy is the same the one installed. I have a couple questions
though.
What is your "bitch of a computer" doing that's upsets you so?
What happened to the Windows XP Cd thats already installed?
I'm willing to help but I need more info.

Hello again,
I have been posting questions to a number of different groups but it
seems they are not arriving?
Any help appreciated,

Like this one? Or, like that one down there:
Hello all,
After spending many hours trying to sort this bitch of a computer I have
decided to go and buy a new copy of XP Home and install it asap.
My question is can I install over the old one or do I have to do something
radical like re- format?
This thing is so messed up I even tried to purchase online from Microsoft
and couldn't even do that successfully!
I'm at my wits end here so any assistance will be VERY much appreciated,
Regards
Phil
You can use Google groups too...

(or, http://tinyurl.com/ez48r)
It shows 2 today, 2 yesterday, etc.
