auto-login with multiple users

Is there a way in Windows XP to auto-login to a default account when
the computer has multiple users? What I am looking for it to do is
after a period of no activity, I'd like it to login to a default
account. I like having multiple users, but when the XP gets stuck on
the Welcome Screen this gets in the way of my backup routine (I have
the computer set up to wake up at midnight and to start backing up, but
the Welcome Screen is getting in the way). Fedora Linux is able to do
this, so I'm hoping Windows XP can too.
