Upgrade

Hello All,
In the next couple of days,I'm going to upgrade from 2K to XP Pro.My drive is partitioned into 3 driver:C=2K,D=Apps and E=Docs.
If I format and install Pro(on C drive) will it still run my programs from D drive or will I have to reinstall everything?
