standby mode while burning ???

I wonder---if i have set time to standby, say, 20 minutes and / or time to
hibernate to xxyy....when i prepare, say, nero and hit BURN and leave PC to
burn, while set burn speed to low so that whole process would take more than
20 minutes...will PC enter standby mode? Does windows actually countdown
minutes to standby/hibernate when Nero is working (or any other program in
that matter) ? i know that screensaver DOES turn on even if Nero is
burning...but this isn't that deadly--- :-)=
