I tried to follow the advice of those here about my logon problem
but really got things screwed up. Please forgive me for getting
frustrated and pissed at XP and try to help again.
When I start XP I'm asked to Logon and enter a password as
Administrator. But I've never had a password so can't logon. I
can't get past that screen.
How can I get beyond this problem?
Thanks all
I just found the OS Disk and am doing a full OS recovery, *after*
making sure all user files are saved. So hopefully this topic is now
concluded. (Famous last words?)
Yes. Evidently the User files didn't get backed up, or I don't know
where to find them.
Suggestions please.
Format, re-install. After that, stop fucking around if you're not sure what
you're doing.
