Finally got the laptop fixed.
Put the harddrive back. Everything works the same except that I can't access
the "My Document" Folder.
I then reclaim the owner to the Adminstrator of this computer using previous
instruction and now everything is finally back to the way it was.
Relic,
Your help is greatly appreciated. Thaks.
DW.

I had a laptop that broke. I want to copy the files under My
Document folder in the harddisk. I use an 2.5" to 3.5" converter to
connect the harddisk from the Laptop to my desk top. Both were
running the same version of windows XP Pro.
After connected and installed, I could access all the files except
when I tried to access the Administrator folder I got an message
saying: "Administrator is not accessible, Access Denied"
and won't let me in.
How could I get the access to Administrator folder and its
subfolders? Before it broken, Administrator is the only user on the
Laptop XP.
See, "How to take ownership of a file or folder in Windows XP"

Now the owner being replaced, when the laptop is fix, if I put the
harddisk back will it still work the same the way it was?.
DW
Same.
