Can you advise what firewall you are using and if you have any other
security software such as Norton installed. Have you managed to get them to
share the internet?

What is your present setup i.e. are you using a router, if so what make and
model. Assume you are on ADSL. Does your router have a built in modem or do
you have a separate modem plugged into the WAN port of the router?

It shouldn't be a problem networking between XP Pro and XP Home but need to
know some basics first then we can look at the setup.
