Bootable CD XP Professional

I'm running XP Home on my Laptop, and running XP Professional on my PC..

For some unknown reason, my PC said it was looking for a boot disk which I
do not have since the program came with the computer.

Question is how can I make a bootable CD on my Laptop that would boot up
on my PC, and will that work?
yeah I know that might be a hard question to answer, but I asked anyway..
