Re: Hard disc not found



I got it sorted. More by luck than design, like most things with me and
my PC.

I booted up my old hard disc ( win me os) with the problematic slave
hard drive attached. The pc booted up fine in win me and recognised the
slave drive. I then backed up the files stored on the slave onto DVD.

When I reattached and rebooted my new hard drive with xp it recognised
the slave drive this time.

I don't know how this worked and would be interested if anyone can tell
me.
