Re: lost disk detector icon



It is not from original WinXP installation.
Same thing happened to me last time I have missing the Windows Messenger
icon and is working in the background. I stopped using it as the only way I
can do because it signed in without my notice - background, no icon to open
user interface).

Your Disk Detector must be in startup registry, and from there, you can Find
Target (something like that) to open the installation folder, run the
application yourself (identify the right EXE), then you can revise the
preference not to hide the tray icon.
