Windows Display Style

I am using Win XP Home SP2.

I prefer Windows Classic Style display appearance. But when I boot or
reboot, the display appearance has changed to Win XP style and I have
to reset and re-apply Windows Classic Style.

How can I keep the display appearance from changing?
