reg problems
I have a program that came with a patch to the registry.
After installing the program, I went to "fix" the registry problem by double
clicking on the patch file.
It did not open like I was told it would. Instead, it asked what type of
program did I want to associate with this type of file to read it.
I don't want to read it, I want it to modify my register.
Is there possibly something on my computer that is preventing me from
opening the program?
If so, how can I over-ride it this one time to get my patch to work?
Thanks in advance.
