Hello Ernie,

To give your CD/RW permissions please do the following:-

1) Double click on My Computer
2) Right click on your CD-RW drive and select properties
3) Click on the Sharing Tab
4) Click on the Permissions button
5) Make sure there is a tick in the "allow" section for all the 3 options.
