spybot and virtual memory

I am running XP pro,When I run spybot,i first get 5 "security risk" entries
, all in the same format:-
HKEY LOCAL- MACHINES\software\microsoft\securitycentre\
antivirusdisable
updatesdisablenotify
firewalloverride
disable antivirusoverride
While spybot is stll running i get a message "system running low on virtual
memory etc"
I get a flash of what looks like a w32 virus message and then it all
crashes. if i do another bot check its still all there. if you can help me
please keep it SIMPLE
