Add/remove programs question

In "Add/remove programs" in control panel, I have 6 programs at the top of
the window then I have to scroll down the equivalent of 10 to 15 pages of
blank space to view the rest of the programs. This occurs no mater how they
are indexed and with or without any options. Isn't this odd? Is there a
fix?
