Not if you use a pc. Granted if you re-record the analog output, you
will lose quality, but if have a computer player with DRM (like windows
media player 10) you can play the song, then use another digital
recording sofware to record the sound card buffer. This makes and
EXACT binary copy of the sample that has no DRM.
And granted it IS another step, but it's cool to get a 1 month free
subscription to napster, download unlimited songs you like for FREE,
then convert them to mp3 so you can take them anywhere regardless of
DRM.
