Do you live in

I live in Kansas, ticks everywhere.
Rod, deer ticks and not the only ticks that carry the Lyme bacteria. In
North America, Lyme disease is found in every continental state in the
US, except Montana IIRC, plus Canada.
Lyme effects the joints and can cause joint pain, swelling and
arthritis. It also attacks the nervous system and causes nerve damage
which explains nerve pain, tingling and numbness. Fibro doesn't cause
joint swelling or arthritis. And while some FM sufferers have some nerve
tingling and numbness sensations, FM doesn't cause the type of nerve
damage that's seen in some people with lyme.
You simply need to be examined, evaluated and tested by a rheumatologist
to find a definitive answer as what condition you have, but it doesn't
sound like it's fibromyalgia.
