Grass? Pollen? Ragweed? Man, those things are so Allergy 1.0. If you're looking for the latest trend in allergens, look no further than Santa Fe, where a group is asking the city to ban Wi-Fi from public buildings due to allergic reactions to its signals.

"I get chest pain and it doesn't go away right away," Arthur Firstenberg told a New Mexico NBC affiliate, KOB. He claims to experience similar reactions from cell phones.

Firstenberg, along with dozens of other fellow electro-sensitive folks are arguing that the city is violating the Americans with Disabilities Act by allowing Wi-Fi in public spaces.

Santa Fe city councilor Ron Trujillo shot back, saying, "It's not 1692, it's 2008. Santa Fe needs to embrace this technology, it's not going away." The city is seeking a resolution by the end of May.
