Actually, you are getting the kind of care they envision.
They feel that a doctor is just another contractor, like
a plumber or electrician. And that if you go to a doctor,
you're gonna pay that doctor's going rate, rather than
being covered by insurance.
Gives you a good idea why only about half of the
employees that would qualify for the WalMart medical
coverage actually enroll into it. And WalMart management
trains their employees on how to use publicly funded medical
services.
Considering that WalMart has 1.5 million employees, their
way of doing things is the shape of things to come.
