By definition, if the physician is unable to apply any other
diagnosis to the set of symptoms, and at least 11 of the
18 tender points are present by physical exam, the person
has fibromyalgia.
Now in the event that your condition has not been given a
diagnosis other than fibromyalgia, it is in the medical
parlance, still fibromyalgia. Because diagnosis-related
groups don't accept "FM-like diagnosis" as a diagnosis.
You have indicated that your pain level is high, you have
indicated by exclusion that you are still diagnosed with FM,
regardless of physical activities, and you have indicated that
you are a part of the New Thought movement, which believes
that with your mind, you can be healed. After all, "all sickness
originates in the mind, and 'right thinking' has a healing effect."
Rather ignores bacteria and viruses, but I don't have a problem
with that. But one fact shoots holes in a lot of theory.
And the brain neurotransmitters serotonin and norepinephrine
help quench the fires of chronic pain, so in the presence of such
pain, those two are likely to be in short supply.
I do suggest that until you can truthfully say that you are
cured of your fibromyalgia, or whatever condition it is eventually
called, that you not propose that it is cured.
This is coming from someone that would not likely be seen
as one of your "abusers", just an AMF participant seeking to
clarify things.
There is a story of Dr Repassy saving a motorcyclist in 2003.
Good use of available materials. And she sounds like she is being
very adroit at dancing around her failure to provide an alternate
diagnosis. You need to have the patience to allow the diagnostic
process to continue, in spite of your current default diagnosis of
fibromyalgia, for lack of a better one.

Just for curiousity, since you currently have a condition that
has now been correctly diagnosed, could you share the
corrected diagnosis of the condition that used to be diagnosed
as FMS?
Back up. I clearly stated that my current serious
condition is UNDIAGNOSED. However, Dr. Repassy and
I agree that some sort of serotonin deficiency is part of
the picture. Lab tests show nothing.
There are likely to be others that could benefit from the info,
ones that may have the same condition, and like so many
others carrying the erroneous diagnosis of "fibromyalgia".
...
I like your logic because it shows compassion on your part.
