Hi,

I have some natural things in mind that she can try. Turmeric and Cinnamon are spices that can cause heat to rise in the body and can keep you warm.

I also have a mattress pad on my bed that heats up and can be adjusted just like a electric blanket for the bed. I used to have an electric blanket, but I laid on top of the bed so many times with the blanket on high that the wires gave out and it quit working. So I researched the mattress pad that heats up and have been quite pleased with it this winter. I believe I bought it at Costco.com.
