david here is the bottom line to this exchange:
i posted information as to who someone was - a person that you invoked
you disagreed with the characterization given -
in doing so, you asserted that i was foolish to have used the
information
i have shown that the information is current and accurate, while you
have injected issues not contained or to the original point - and at the
same time characterize my response as beating a dead horse
you brought the horse(s) to the stableyard....not i. that i 'respond' to
what you bring up isn't beating anything - except, apparently, to you.
as such, it appears that you seek validation that i cannot, and will
not, give.
you hold that there is nothing about the manner in which you present
yourself and your ideas that should or could give another any problems
example - you write >back off; it already has been explained to you that
anabaptist
has at least 2 different meanings.
'you' were the one who did not know the history and 'meanings' not
i...so, youngster - you 'back off' the ''attitude'
if - to you - my desire for you to be clear in what you write is like
being a lawyer - so be it...all this exchange has shown is that you
aren't as precise in expression as you wish to be, and that you get
defensive when held to a standard other than your own.
and bye the bye - another example of how you draw incorrect inference:
You show little concern for my meaning. I was always correct that
Good Shepherd never did baptism by the Spirit in the Quaker sense.
'i' never said or implied that they did, you injected it out of thin air
and then felt a need to defend doing so. only you brought up quaker, it
wasn't any part of this discussion of 'my' posting the anabaptist
history of the given church and person.
just as you are trying to draw me into this business of your honor...no
one can take, or bestow such.
it either exits within one or it doesn't
you bring up bruce lee - so this i think is apt
"I'm not in this world to live up to your expectations and you're not in
this world to live up to mine. "
that you are squabbling with some other individual over your 'honor' is
childish of you.
i am only writing to be certain that you know where i stand on this
silliness, there isn't any need to reply - we simply won't agree about
your approach to discussion
Just a second.
since i am not, and have not been, in a hurry, why the need to phrase as
such? [style]
I talked with Pastor Minnich last night about
inaccuracies on
Good Shepherd websites and he said he cannot change it.
hmmmmm two things: glad you finally spoke to him,
but the statement that he 'cannot' change isn't exactly accurate. he is,

therefor, he 'is' the one who is responsible for any changes...or lack
thereof.
He said
anabaptist
in his meaning means re-baptizing. Our point of conversation is now
settled.
it was never 'unsettled'
On other matters, we disagree.
which is what i have already said
You have little
sense of proportion when truth and honor are
being violated on the NG consistently by virtue of the mass flaming
and accusation I
once endured in silence but no longer.
i acknowledge the source and causes of flames you have received from
others...you deny your share of the responsibility for it. since i view
you as being an equal participant in the festivities that have occurred,
i have no desire to take either side in those discussions. i can
disagree and/or discuss without flaming you - and so i do so.
Also, I want other NGers to know I set strict limits on ridiculous
cross-examination.
what you have so consistently seen as 'cross-examination many others see
as asking responsible questions - ones that -imo- you haven't really
been willing to respond to.
Now that I am satisfied I have dealt with the essential matters, let's
move on to how
my TOTAL PACKAGE can help others with fibromyalgia.
ok
I suggest -
daily movement therapy, dance, stretching, gym and pool work to be put
together by an expert
such suggestions are very much in line with what many others have
written about before you started here. some are able to do it, others
for various reasons cannot
daily nutrition for energy pickup and maintenance - choose your foods
and supplements well
ditto
set priorities in life with help from a pastor, psychiatrist, close
friends etc.
ditto
learn to love other people even more than yourself - restrain your own
ego
i doubt you will feel receptive, but start with yourself please.
for those receptive to the Spirit get to know the inner Light of
Christ
your personal belief, others hold differently. 'a' belief system, of
whatever persuasion, can indeed be beneficial.
