It seems to be common for fibro to come with MP, from my experience,
though the severity apparently varies a LOT and not everyone with
fibro have MP, and I'm sure there's people with MP that don't have
fibro. My partner hurts, but nowhere like I do. Sometimes, just a
light breath of air on my skin is excrutiating, and that is myofascial
pain and not fibromyalgia. Look up the specific diagnostic criteria
and symptom list for fibromyalgia and myofascial pain in a medical
text or on a website designed to inform physicians, that might help
you figure out the difference between the two.

I can't find anything for MP, but I don't have the energy to spend a
lot of time looking, so you may have better luck than I... There's a
definite, specific criteria and list of symptoms for fibro, so looking
that over may help you figure out what's fibro and what isn't.

Dragonfly, it sounds like to me what you have is Trigeminal Neuralgia and
you should see your doctor about it and start getting proper treatment
