AHA! You noticed my posting pattern, did you? Now it's time to talk
about sleep. LOL But I'll start a new thread for that.
I read with great intrest the information in what you wrote and have
to say you are one smart cookie.
My favourites are these soft, chewy, spicy gingersnaps. I'll post the
recipe too. ;o)
I too am a bit of a nutrition sluth
and have been doing my own "unscientific" research on fibro and
nutrition. I cannot tell you the number of nutrition books and
supplement books I have read. I must say you are right on target
here.
Have you read "Foods That Fight Pain" by Dr. Neil Barnard?
Part of it is that by trial and error I have found that the higher the
quality of my protien and carbs that I consume the better I feel!
Ya see? I'm not the only one. Dana feels the same way, and now you
too. We're gonna cause a nutrition revolution. <G>
Example,,,if I eat white rice, red meats (oh yeah,,did you know most
read meats raise the substance P in folks,,,that is another can of
worms,,interesting), baked potatos, refined sugars and cereals and
host more of processed food I feel like CRAP.
I actually like and feel like I *need* red meat sometimes. Potatoes
are on my GOOD list too, preferably with skins on. I eat *some*
cereals, and I eat rice of all kinds. I admit to having sugar in my
coffee. I'm not really a nutrition guru or anything. I just know
that eating is better than not eating. :o)
'Kay, gotta go for now. Household's up. ;o)
Take GOOD Care,
Jane
Messes with my blood
sugar and/or messes with my brain in general and with the "fog" I dont
need that! I do my best to stick with the food as it orig. was
intended by God,,processed very little and as organic as I can
afford. I have noticed a huge difference in the way I feel when I
stick to my good eating habits.
Ok,,I will not bore you with this any longer but wanted you to know
that I think you are right on target here. All I know is by trial and
error I have accidently felt much better eating certain foods and
avoiding others.
Oh yeah,,,,MSG Sucks!
God Bless,
