'Kay, in all seriousness here - my face, throat and ankles all seem to
be swelling. Most disconcerting is my throat, because it feels like I
can't swallow or breathe properly and it's making me cough a lot. I
threw up this afternoon, after waking up from my nap choking and
feeling like my upper palate was sinking into my throat and closing it
shut.

My ankles are pitting. My face seems swollen too - my nose looks even
fatter than usual. LOL Now I'm REALLY starting to look like W.C.
Fields. And I seem to be swelling a bit around the eyes too.

This isn't something that's making me feel like I should go to Emerg
or anything - but it's troubling. I'm definitely gonna keep an eye on
it, and if it gets much worse, I'll have to go to the doctor, I
think.

My biggest concern is that it might be an allergic reaction to the
Neurontin (and that I'm going to choke to death!! LOL Just
kidding!). I just looked it up and ALL these symptoms are described
as serious side effects.

Yeah - trust good ole Janey to find (and HAVE) the serious side
effects to a drug I can *feel* already is really helping me. But I
also found that serious water retention is a problem for some, and
that would explain the pitting and the swollen nose. I'm having a bit
of balance problems, but I expected that. But not THIS.

I hope it's just, like, a cold or something, and I can continue the
Neurontin. I can already tell when it's wearing off and it's time for
another - cuz I start hurting. LOL Never knew I *was* hurting 'til I
wasn't anymore.

I'm gonna give it a couple more days (or til morning if my throat
keeps swelling.)
