it's been crazy around here LOL i haven't had much typing time here on
amf. lately ive been too tired from shopping for moms cooking supplies LOL
now if i could keep some wieght on these ole bones ;-)
I've been doing a lot of educating about CMPD vs FMS lately it seems, and
yes, if Giggz wants to come on down here, i can tell her in a couple
seconds, and help her in quite a few more ;-) it takes a good set of hands
to really get thru tot he Trps... my last therapist was the first in 9 years
to actually work with me, and we found my problem areas and releived them.
now my job is to keep them as happy as possible... tough job too, Trigger
points are not easy to please ;-) but it's definitely worth it considering
the alternative LOL

I'm glad YOU'RE going around the third time on this instead of mydoin'
it.. And please tell her the books and many research papers pile 'emitself.
together calling 'em both FM but they aren't? LOL
Seriously...seeing someone who knows a tender from a trigger point will
get anyone doing a lot better than some MD who knows nothing of CMP

Yes, I'm Yelling!!! CMPD is Not Fibro!!!!! but you can have the 2body
together!! little knots and bumps on your muscles can wreak havoc in a
BTDT, and still doing it! muscle relaxers, long slow stretching with NO
Reps!! Tai Chi & Yin Yoga work the best for me... Keep the stress
loldown too!! ever since i got rid of 280lbs of stress my CMPD has allowedme
a more relaxed lifestyle :-) as long as i don't overdo it, of course
tight

Like I SAID, Miz Dizzy <g>....it's b'cuz they make no distinctionbetwixt
FM and CMP. Have ya ever been checked for the knots and lumps and
allegeropes? It wuz a chiropractor found 'em with me....Mayo Clinic glossedright
over 'em. They are a bigger deal than those that dismiss 'em will
underand
can cause significant muscle weakness where yer legs just give out
FMya.
THAT'S a keepin' yer balance prob. fersure.
The short near-vertigo episodes we have when changing position are
etc.andrelated but aren't really balance problems. Dysequilibrium is the name
space...notit's a description of being slow to perceive one's position in
feelsto the extent you would fall down. It's a perception prob. where it
itlike we're still moving and we're not. We can't perceive in space thatwe've
stopped. It's a very limited thing and if you expect it and adjust for
queasywhenever you change positions ( and especially if ya twist yer headaround)
ya won't fall down. It's not a prob. if ya just don't rush. Feeling
over a hint of vertigo is a sign of dysequilibrium.stretching
So the first paragraph is CMP and is serious and needs gentle
and reducing carb intake and myofascial release and TrP treatment,
anotherThe
second paragraph is a minor FM thing and just needs practice to avoid
causing it. Ya gots the difference? Yet? Gonna have me go around
theytime? LOL
Plus there's the most common med.side effect. Many of the things
Loaf, give ya for this are dizzy making...especially so when yerditzy...err....I
mean dizzy to begin with.<weg>

But it was in many other websites, and I have the problem, and I
recognizeforhave CMP. Three other FM'er friends of mine have it too.
Ya think it's just the Midwest? LOL
Balance is a prob. for many FM'ers. When I was first diagnosed, I
bought four FMS books and read about it. It said that in each one.
It's hard for me to believe otherwise.
Now go get poked! LOL <stumblin' and fallin'>

Starlanyl in fact researches more into CMP than FM these days,

Of COURSE you have both...otherwise ya wouldn't have un-DX'd
problems. Which is not to say that either of 'em have anything to
with
your being unbalanced. <duckin' and gimpin' away>
