Hiya (((JaneyPoohBobArrino)))
I thought I'd answer you here about a request for a song for
tomorrow...as I can't seem to get to my email agin dang it! Will later
but while I remember:
I've been listening nearly exclusively to Buddy & Julie Miller.
EmmyLou (who's also a good choice) introduced them to the world on a
tour & I swear I haven't heard better writing nor more creative than
Julie's. Buddy writes well too but his guitar playin' is amazing!
There's no category for their music but it's close to rockin' country
w/the most plaintive voices in ...hmm since Louvin Bros. in the '50's?
Anywho, thar ya be!
TY
Kindly,
LoriB.o.B.

A song from my era. :o) No long pre-amble today - Clancy's home for a
rainday and we're cozying up and chatting. NICE! Just stopped to give
you a song for the day.
Shine On you Crazy Diamond
by Pink Floyd
Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom,
Blown on the steel breeze.
Come on you target for faraway laughter,
Come on you stranger, you legend,
You martyr,
And SHINE!
You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Well you wore out your welcome with random precision,
Rode on the steel breeze.
Come on you raver, you seer of visions,
Come on you painter, you piper,
You prisoner,
And SHINE!

Take GOOD Care,
Jane
