Nociceptive Pain & APA Assay

I found a thread started by Mrs. Magoo (a dear old friend named
Deirdre) and continued by Maureen in Mukilteo, and I think the
information in it bears repeating. These are really two different
discussions - nociceptive and non-nociceptive pain, and the
Anti-Polymer Antibody Test for Fibromyalgia - but they were both
discussed in the same thread. Both are fascinating topics to me.

If anyone goes to this link and reads Deirdre's and Maureen's comments
and would like to discuss it more - LETS!! I think we *should* talk
about stuff like this, even if we don't totally understand it. How can
we *start* to understand it if we never talk about it?

So, Maureen, if you're reading - have you read or heard any more about
the efficacy of the APA Assay in Dxing patients with severe FM?
Everything I can find on it dates back to the original studies in 1999
or so. I was wondering if it ever went anywhere, or has it been
debunked or something? How come we never hear about it nowadays?

Boy, I miss Magoo!! In case you're reading somehow, Dredel dahling -
PLEASE find your way back to us!! We miss you. Love Tecky ;o)

Take GOOD Care,

Jane
