Oh no, I do hope that you don't mean that Janey.........I'm sure that no one
meant to upset you. It's just very hard sometimes to convey what we really
want to say in this medium. I have a talent for writing same as you but
even I have trouble putting my mental finger on the right word at times. I
hope you will reconsider.

Probably because, from past experience, we FM'ers know it doesn't last.
There are all kinds of regimens that make different people feel better
in the short or even longer term, but 'ignore it and it will go away'
is
rarely one of them, no matter how good our diet.
What does " 'ignore it and it will go away' " have to do with what i
said.
Did i miss something in Jane's post? Just trying to understand your
response.
a 4th generation RA 'cripple'...

I was replying to the whole thread of responses. The "It is true that
sometimes if I (an FMer) gets things
under control for any period of time I tend to hold back that news" from
your post triggered this part of my response:
"Probably because, from past experience, we FM'ers know it
[remission/control] doesn't last".
The "ignore it and it will go away" comment was elicited by some of the
things Janey seemed to be saying.
EGADS!! If *that's* how I came across, I certainly apologize, because
that's not what I was trying to say AT ALL!!!!! Ignore it and it will
go away?? I would never in my LIFE believe that, nor would I say it.
I've been here a long time. A lot of you know A LOT about my history.
It kinda hurts that you'd think I would say or intend such a thing.
All I was saying is that for ME, a healthy diet, low impact exercise,
and STRESS REDUCTION make it easier to deal with my symptoms.
Saying it, however, has led to a huge amount of STRESS - exactly the
opposite of what is good for me, what I want, or what I *NEED* to help
me not flare. So I take leave of this topic now, and perhaps most
others for a while.
I don't need the stress of trying to explain it. I was *not* trying to
insult anyone else who deals with their problems a different way. I
was NOT trying to call anyone else a cripple. Yes, I would not want to
be a cripple. What's so bad about it? In the case of Fibromyalgia -
IT HURTS! In the case of my other problems - it sets me back months
and possibly brings on seizures.
I titled this post "I'm Just Me Here" because that's what I MEANT. I
was not talking about anyone else but ME. I'm sorry if I hurt anyone
else's feelings.
Bye for now. Take GOOD Care,
Jane
I realize I was less than clear, and I did try again to better explain
myself in a subsequent post.
Sorry for the misunderstanding; I have been preoccupied for the last few
days with a family crisis that might not seem significant in the larger
scheme of things, but meant a lot to us. I might post about it more
appropriately later.
Margo
