Re: A testimonial from a Fibromyalgia sufferer

There are many uses for Noni, the fresher the better. Hence warning of
possible toxic reaction. It is related to the mulberry some that can be
quite lethal. I believe in using fresh juice so I make my own grown
Noni. The fruit looks like something from outer space
and indeed old noni will smell foul. I wait until I Ive 6 table spoons
juice in the jar packed with fresh fruits left in the sun. If you use
it fresh there is hardly the foul odor.
I stubbed my big toe once, a friend told me how to use the leaves etc.
It warmed my foot right away. In the morning I had no more pain. I tell
you, Id use it for FMS if I did not have so many places that need the
plaster lol. The leaves don't smell foul at all. I have a good friend
who wants to get in on the band wagon, at least to see some Hawaiians
getting to see the fruit of natures efforts in all respects. The
"Tahitian Noni" is no different and uses the word "Tahitaian" as a
selling point. I am not sure if it is a Native owned co. Personally I
prefer to buy from Native owned co's if I can as specially if it comes
from the Islands.

Aloha Cheeky, Here in Hawaii, "Noni" is a medicine. It is respected
and used many ways. Here we use the fresh fruit, the leaves and root.
We make Noni juice fresh for our family and friends. If you buy Noni
juice make sure there is no alcohol or other additives. Some believe
"Noni" is toxic. Besides the taste " like liquid Limburger cheese". I
use it fresh so it is not so hard to swallow. I with I could say Noni
juice helps with FMS! but it does not help me. I use the leaves in a
pulsates that works well for sprains but, not for FMS.
Now, here in Hawaii it's "nani" and has nothing to do with cats lol...

"I am a retired teacher, 64 years of age.

The pain started years ago. It would be in one place one day and in
another place a different day. It would start unexpectedly for no
apparent reason. I used to think my lower back was out of place. The
pain would last 2-3 months sometimes. It also went all the way up
the middle of my upper back on both sides of my spine.

All the while I was having severe pain in other areas. Specific
spots on my back felt as if a corkscrew was being turned into them.
My whole back itched constantly and ferociously. My elbows were so
tender, I couldn't turn over in bed and just barely touching them
while bathing was excruciating. In my shoulders, front and back,
shoulder blades, upper arms, ribs and knees the pain burned like a
hot iron.

After sitting for a while I could barely stand up because of a
painful catch in my groin. I started having severe charley horses
and experienced a general weakness. I could barely lift a coffee
cup, and peeling vegetables for dinner was out of the question.

I'd had cortisone shorts, pain pills, muscle relaxants and was told
there was nothing wrong with me. The pills made me sleepy or hyper,
gave me headaches and made me sick to my stomach. I finally refused
to take them.

Finally, I was told that I have Fibromyalgia. It was a relief to
have a name for my pain and to know it was not terminal, although I
often commented "Life is not worth living this way".

About 6 months ago, I began taking Noni Juice. It wasn't long
before I experienced relief from pain and more recently a returning
of strength. I now thank God for each pain free day and for his
gift of Noni.
