Since I am new to FMS my question is has this happened to anyone else?
last summer around time I was Dx'd I had stones in my saliva gland
(thank God they passed) now they are back and surgery to remove the
gland is what has to be done. I never had this problem before, has
anyone else had this problem? It seems like I keep on getting different
thinks and from I have read from others it seems like your whole body
goes crazy, I was wondering if long term med. use is causing it. I am
not looking forward to another surgey of any kind. But the gland keeps
on swelling like I have a golf ball in my neck. scared the crap out of
me at first because my first thought was a tumor.

I haven't had that one, but I did have a blocked saliva duct on the underside
of the tip of my tongue that had to be surgically removed as they feared
constant irritation from rubbing against my teeth while talking would induce
it to become malignant. Downside was there are so many nerves packed in so
tightly there I ended up with a tongue that has periodic numbness making my
speech-defect affected speech even more difficult to understand! LOL

Anyway, the oral surgeon said that was fairly common, but I've never met
anyone else who even knows anyone else who has had it. Go figure. Oh, my
experience was pre-fibro by years.
