Good...glad you went there. The fibro could be a result of having
AS. FM often needs a trigger to set it off and once you have FM you
have it. If you've got 11 or more of the 18 tender points you have
FM, regardless of what else you have.

I think I need more education on FM - 18 tender points?

I can "point" them out for you if you like. Come over here <evil grin>

There's one in every crowd, ain't there? You may have to root through
my hairy legs and back to find those points. <evil wink>

FM is on topic here and it can be hard to tell which is FM and
which is an arthritis flare....but the longer you flare with both
the easier they'll become to tell apart.

...and arthritis.

Livy,

I agree with Rosemarie. I have ankylosing spondylitis and so many
of your symptoms are very similiar. Tendonitis, bursitis...all of
this can be part of AS.

I just joined the AS forum. Good information over there! I mean,
does it sound like what's going on with me or what? I like the
news that exercise makes you feel better. I really do like to
exercise but I'm always afraid that overusing my joints these days
will start another round of problems. Why Dr. Doogie never thought
of this but said I had fibro is a mystery to me. He's a spine
doctor!

My 3 cats say Hi to the Kitten. Belle the dog says "feed me".
