Re: Two New Rescues!

These 2 babies are so adorable! I'm going to save the picture to show my
little granddaughter. She's 1 1/2 and learning new words every day. She
and her older sister have several of the great Fisher-Price Little People
toy sets. Their favorites are the animals from the farm, Noah's ark and
zoo.

Emily will bring each piece over to me and I'll say what it is and what it
"says." Cow, moo, moo, and so on. She brought over this little black lamb
and I said, "Lammie. Baa, baa." She shook her head and concisely said,
"Goat!" We have no idea where that came from, but now the sheep and lambs
have all become "Goats!" LOL

So, today, I showed her your other pictures of your goats, and sure enough,
she smiled and said, "Goat," before I had a chance to say a word. Now, I'm
looking forward to showing her the newest little additions to your farm
family.

We got a phone call at 4 this afternoon. Twins goats, born late last
night or early this morning. Their momma wasn't doing well. The poor
babies were *really* hungry. Did we have room for them?

I don't care how hard up we are for room, I'm not turning away a
starving baby. Thankfully, though, we're not hard up for room.

YD and I drove out to pick them up. They are absolutely ADORABLE.
It's a male and a female. The little male is white with black smudge
marks, like someone took a piece of coal and smudged his eyebrows, just
under his eyes, his nose, and his lips. The female is white with black
and red on her head. They are soooo tiny!
