Heads Up to all my friends. I heard there might be inclement weather
on the horizon, so I've come back home and I'm organizing a Hot Tub
Party at my house under the fabulous new gazebo I had built just for
the purpose. The contractors were *amazing*, getting it all built so
fast.

There's a big covered deck with loads of comfy deck chairs, and the hot
tub and steam room/sauna are built just off to the side of it. It's
all freshly built out of cedar and the smell is heavenly. :o) They
also cut a hole through the wall and built a sliding window into the
kitchen, so we can pass things through instead of having to walk around
all the time. Betcha Lampy will be trying to crawl through that window
to get closer to the fondue pot. I took it home with me. It's mine.
LOL But now it's sitting on my stove bubbling away with fresh
chocolate and I cut up a whole big tray of fresh fruits to go with it.
Ya gotta try the watermelon!! It's to die for.

My dear hubby, who some of you know used to be a soundman, has wired up
the yard with lights and built us a little stage so we can bring the
concert here if we want. There's no danger of them getting rained on
here - we can just bring the whole thing inside into my Great Room
(LOL) if it starts to rain. I contacted Emmylou Harris and she said
she'd rather go to a hot tub party than yet another folkfest in the
rain. LOL

Guys, you're more than welcome to come too!! What's a hot tub party
with no men (except Sven and Virile, that is!) ? I have one
stipulation - no thong bathing suits, please. LOL I'd rather you go
in the buff than THAT!! ROFLMAO

I hired a caterer this time, so I can have more of my time to spare
just lounging around. Apparently they can have *anything* you want
ready in less than 10 minutes. I've been trying it out and so far it's
true -- Baked Alaska - 7.5 minutes, Chateau Briande - 9 minutes,
Lobster Thermidor - 4.2 minutes I have NO idea where all their
ingredients are coming from and when I asked the Head Chef he just
winked at me. ;o)

If any of you get tired, I have 11 spare bedrooms. (LOL) I've
equipped each with lovely fresh new mattresses and linens. Some are
firm and some are soft and some are just right ;o) so - first come,
first served on that one. When all the rooms are full, we can
accomodate more people on the couches in the rec room and family rooms,
and in our fully equipped 50' brand new RV out back. ROFLMAO

So, everything's all prepared and the party starts when the first
person gets here. BYOB cuz I don't keep alcohol in my house. But if
it turns into a drunken brawl like the World Cup, I'll be asking people
to leave. ;o) It's my house, after all. :o)

That dude over there with the long wavy blonde hippy-looking hair is my
son Dylan. He'll take your coats and anything else you choose to
bring, and put it where it belongs. If you'd like to bring some
potluck, that'd be fine too.

In the meantime,

Does this mean there will be blue drinks there too?? I mean the last time
we had a virtual get together, the blue drinks were a smash!!!
