Can anyone say here how much Mirapex they are taking to feel relief
from pain?
I concerned if Jane you're taking only 1 tab of 0.25 mg, and I am
taking 0.5 mg tabs, currently at 3 per night. I'm supposed to
gradually increase up to 6 per night and I'm afraid that may be high.
I still have not felt any improvement yet at 3 tablets, but I don't
want to keep taking Mirapex if it's not working (I'm still getting
extreme nausea throughout the day).
I was concerned about this too, to be honest, Mary. My doctor and I
based my dosage on a study I found at Epilepsy.com which states:
Previous studies in RLS have reported rapid, statistically significant
effects of Pramipexole on RLS symptoms. The efficacy and safety of
pramipexole for treatment of RLS has been studied from a starting dose
of 0.125 mg single dose per day (half of a .25 mg tablet) and up to .75
single dose per day. That's 1/2 of what you're already up to, Mary.
Here's the article that came from:

Take GOOD Care,
Jane
