wasn't stopping the itching. So at about 4:30 a.m. I took some
benadryl. It really zapped me out. Then I had to get up at 8:00ish
to start getting ready. I was so out of it. I was half way between
sleep and awake mode and was saying and doing the goofiest stuff. I
would be think I was talking with Ed in sleep mode and asked and
answered questions which he had no clue what I was talking about. Then he
had to get me a stool to sit in front of the bathroom room to
do my hair and makeup. Turns out that Ed noticed in the dr's office I
only put lipstick on my bottom lip. Slept in the car all the way to
the hospital. He had to transport me "again" via wheel chair cuz I
couldn't walk in my state of mind. Was sitting in the waiting room
with him, took a bit out of a muffin and fell asleep while chewing. Was
snoring and and talking babble in the waiting room. He was so
embarrassed.... can't blame him. Then we get into the dr's office to
talk to the dr. and my BP was so low they had to get an different
gizzmo to get my BP. I could hardly talk and understand the dr. He
and Ed were just laughing it up; I was laughing at myself too. They
finally got me into the "big chair" and I slept until 2:30 during my
infusion. OMG.... at least we all (me, Ed and the staff) have
something to laugh about. Had to share this with you. It was like
one of those Lucy (Veega Vega Vitamin episodes she did) Remember,
she was suppose to be advertising for this liquid vitamin but it had
alcohol in it. They kept do retakes and she got progressively more
and more drunk she could pronounce the product anymore. It was one
of her funniest!!!
