I don't know if it's all the pain or the meds or the kids/grandkids or what,
but just the thought of adding another person to the mix (not counting
granddaughter due on 25 May 06... I'm excited and terrified about her
upcoming birth) is exhausting...
I'm not old, I get looks every once in awhile and I like being around
people, but just the whole dating thing to me seems so far off the charts of
my abilities right now. Is it just me?
I'm not a complete hermit (although at times, I'd certainly prefer it to
dealing with the outside world), but I am really finding right now that I
dearly value my friends who've stood the test of time and fibro and who
still make time for a lunch date or a marathon phone call here and there or
just stop over to see how I'm doing. A few hours up and then I literally
have to get off my feet and give my spine a (sometimes very long) break.
Hopefully, though, others aren't going through this (phase?) and you could
become a bazillionaire off of your fibro dating site. I'm thinking even
fibro must somehow feel better with an unlimited spending account... (?)
Me personally? I'd buy a very disabled-friendly house and suite of
furniture, have well-paid servants, masseurs, limo w/driver and of course my
service rottie and other pets to keep her company. (She already has her own
Kitten... but he started peeing on the furniture, so his days of being a
housecat have become increasingly numbered.)
I got waaaaaaaaaay off track here, but anyway, that was awfully sweet of
Nancy to provide the introduction and very generous of you to share it.
Gave me a smile for the day. :)

Going through a rough time in life right now and not many supporters to
chat with somebody sent me a support Email and a support buddy.
Boy was I shocked but thought it was so sweet I answered them both.
Makes me wanna put up a fibro dating site. So what are you into? Well it
used to be cocaine and whiskey but now it's skelaxin lidiocaine Botox
prevacid zanax and hot showers. (Not exactly a circuit party)
What do you like to do most? A: Absoloutly nothing. He's perfect! If it's
all in our heads then we can be crazy about each other. Right?
Hehehehehehe SNL

Subject: Introductions
Hello Boys. :)
I would like to introduce two of my favorite gay guys to each other.
Ron, of course is my favorite, because I've been to visit him and had
RL hugs and all. ;)
This may be premature and I may be worlds off on my judgment, but I
think you both should meet. I know you will become friends. :)
I met both of you on AMF, btw. So, you both have fibromyalgia. :(
I think you both want the same things out of life.
I may have screwed up the ages, but I hope not. ;)
I'll leave it at that for now. I hope you enjoy talking to each
other.
Love and Hugs,
Nancy
