Thanks for saying something, Kitten. I've just been so miserable lately,
that I feel at a real loss sometimes.
I had my lumbar puncture last Monday and will go to the neuro next
Monday to hear the results and his conclusions.
I ache all over and can never tell if it's the fibro or something else.
That only adds to my frustration. Right now, both shoulders are so
painful that I can't sleep or pick up anything. It hurts to even remove
my *** in the morning. I'm constantly screaming out from the pain, but
thank goodness I'm alone most of the time and nobody has to listen to
me.
I want to get up and do anything, but my back sends my hip into spasms
when I do. I fall all over the place when I do get up,because my balance
is so far off. At other times, I keep falling and tripping over my own
feet. I have a cut heel right now from cutting it with my toenail when I
tripped myself. My son saw a huge bruise on the side of my hip the other
day and joked that it was the largest he'd ever seen and that we should
measure it to see if I could top it.
For a while, the Cymbalta seemed to help the peripheral neuropathy, but
recently the pains are increasing again.
I can't seem to stay awake for very long at a time. I I sneak around and
take an Adderall, so I can stay awake one day, I'm in worse shape the
next two or three days.
I'm just so tired. I've about decided that, if the neuro says I do have
MS, I won't even take any treatment for it. If it's anything else, like
Lupus, I don't know what I'll do. I just don't see any reason to treat
myself, just so I can suffer even longer. I've been reading a lot about
the MS treatments and know they have a lot of side effects, and I don't
think I can deal with anything else. Dealing with this fibro for the
past 25 years has been hard enough.
Sorry I went on and on. I'll shut up. I do appreciate you're concern.
Thank you for caring.

Boy, do I feel special! I ask several questions on Monday and have
repeatedly come, lookinng to see if anyone answered any of them.
Sorry, Barb, but I don't usually respond to things such as this unless
I've the time and energy to do some research.
I don't take aspirin because I have blood clotting issues, as well as
weak blood vessel issues and a family history of cerebral bleeds.
I would have to call my mom (nurse) and step-dad (pharmacist) to find
out about Plavix, or do a 'net search. Today's the first day in a week
that I've not been on the road all day, so I've not had the time or
energy for that.
I'm sorry that life's been such a beast for you lately. It gets really
rough when we're not able to do as we expect ourselves to, especially
when it's topped off with not getting the help we need. My teens and
husband are *just* beginning to figure out that when I say I'm wiped and
need them to handle everything, that's just what I mean.
Hope you feel better soon.
Kitten
