HI,

What have you tried off label for pain?

TCA's?
cymbalta
effexor
neurontin
lycira
depakote
lamictil
trazadone
lithium
stimulants (dexidrine, ritilin, etc)
muscle relaxants?

There are many choices of non-pain killers that can often signifcantly
lessen pain if you can tolerate there side effects. If you can tell me more
about what you have taken, I can perhaps suggest some areas that your might
want to explore with your doctor.

Jamie

The question is what haven't I taken. Am on Trazadone, muscle
relaxants, etc,etc....

I sure do remember you, Tiff, from former days :-) Many of us are really
having a rough time of it right now. I don't know how to help, except to
advise you to talk to your doctor about a med for sleep. That's probably
what you need to address first off. As far as pain, it seems like
anything
we take (Muscle relaxers, pain pills, Antidepressants, etc.) only take
the
"edge off". I guess we just need to encourage one another. Good to see
you
posting again.

Hi there Nanny,
How have you been? I've been lurking, but with all that
"crap" going on I couldn't stay. Seems much nicer in here now a days.
We just started the tegretol, as this is supposed to make you tired.
That's not the problem, it's staying asleep. I really want to get a
mattress topper but can't really afford it. Don't know what's best
anyhow.

Thanks,
Tiff
