One thing that still doesn't make sense to me is that if, as
you say here, MY post was confusing to YOU, "imagine how
confusing yer post was to me", then why did you reply to it
as if it DID make sense to you, and in rather an angry and
dismissive tone at that?

Ive never quite figured out how written words can have a underlying
tone, as opposed to openly suggestive things like "F*** YOU!" or the
likes! ;) Cuz I wasnt trying to have a tone or be either dismissive or
angry.

Ah! I, of all people, should know this! You're right! I
applied and ASSUMPTION based on how your "prose" looked
compared to a general "feel" I've become used to on this and
other NGs. Hot DAYAM! It can get ANYONE! :(

to pick out & respond to what I did think made some kinda sense, thats all.

If you're talking the difference between those just born in
America, and those who make the effort to contribute to the
things of value America still generates (despite current
"events"), then I'd argue that Americans are not, and
probably never will be "boring". (Bill Hicks, Richard Prior,
Ellen DeGeneres, Lenny Bruce, Trey Parker/Matt Stone, etc... ?)
